We've all had those mornings. It takes extra special effort just to throw the covers off and raise our heads from our pillows. This morning was such a morning for me. Thankfully, today is just a cleaning and errand day. No clients to meet. No phones to answer. No long public stints. For me, a day like today is dress-down day. I put on my oldest pair of jeans (beyond ratty) and a bulky, navy blue men's long winter underwear shirt. Yes, this is quite low-key, low-energy attire. But this consummate fashionista can't go without any bling...
My choice added instant glamour and a pleasing pop of color to a totally informal look. I decided on a fun, multi-strand beaded necklace. It has both seed beads and chunky beads in an array of harvest colors. I chose dangle earrings with faceted beads of similar size and color as those of the necklace. The earrings are dainty, so they compliment the necklace, not compete with it.
And as for those errands I must do today in the public eye? I chose BIG sunglasses in one of the bright colors from my necklace. With minimal effort and a smart choice from the jewelry box, I'm ready to face the world. Onward, ladies!
